Could a tiny dose of morphine make C-Section recovery less painful?

Summary
This study tests whether adding a low dose of morphine to the standard spinal anesthesia can reduce pain after a planned C-section without increasing serious risks for mothers or babies. About 1,300 women having planned C-sections will receive either morphine or a placebo (salt water) in their spinal injection, along with standard pain pills. Researchers will track pain levels, side effects, and safety for both mother and newborn.
