New drug duo takes on hard-to-treat blood cancer

NCT ID NCT07548450

First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether combining two drugs, mosunetuzumab and pirtobrutinib, is safe and works for people with Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia whose cancer returned or didn't respond to prior therapy. About 25 adults will receive the combination to find the best dose and measure how well it shrinks the cancer. The goal is to control the disease, not cure it.
