This study aims to find out which factors best predict death within 30 days after major abdominal surgery in patients aged 80 and older. Researchers will review medical records from about 200 patients, focusing on frailty (using a simple 5-item index) and blood markers like albumin and creatinine. The goal is to help doctors better assess surgical risk and improve conversations with patients and families.
