First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study compares a modified double-J ureteral stent to a standard one in 40 adults with kidney or ureteral stones. The new stent has a thinner loop at the bladder end, which may reduce common side effects like pain, blood in urine, and discomfort when urinating. The goal is to see if this design improves patients' quality of life after placement.
