NCT ID NCT06192862
First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tested whether a mobile chatbot could encourage more people in Hong Kong to get screened for colorectal cancer. 500 adults aged 50-75 who were eligible for a government-subsidized screening program were enrolled. The chatbot provided education and personalized risk information to motivate them to complete a fecal immunochemical test (FIT). The goal was to see if this approach could increase the low screening rate.
