Can text messages and calls fight anemia in pregnancy?

Summary

This study will test if an education program delivered via mobile phones can help improve hemoglobin levels in pregnant women with anemia in rural Bangladesh. 132 women with mild to moderate anemia will be randomly assigned to receive either regular care or regular care plus educational messages and calls about anemia prevention and management. Researchers will measure changes in hemoglobin levels after four months to see if the mobile education program is effective.
