Can text messages fight anemia in pregnancy?

NCT ID NCT07310680

Summary

This study will test whether sending health education via mobile phones (texts and calls) can help improve hemoglobin levels in pregnant women with mild to moderate anemia in rural Bangladesh. Researchers will enroll 160 anemic pregnant women and randomly assign half to receive the mobile education program, while the other half receives standard care. The goal is to see if this accessible, low-cost approach can lead to better health outcomes for mothers and babies in low-resource settings.
