Summary
This study tests whether a special mobile van equipped with ultrasound can safely close a common heart hole (atrial septal defect) without X-rays or surgery. About 300 people aged 8 and older with a hole between 6 and 36 mm will be randomly assigned to get the procedure in the mobile unit or in a hospital. The goal is to show the mobile approach works just as well, making treatment available in remote areas.
