App aims to get new moms moving in rural america

Summary

This study tests whether a smartphone app called BumptUp can help pregnant and postpartum women living in rural areas become more physically active. About 176 women will either use the app or receive an educational brochure. Researchers will track activity levels, weight, diet, blood pressure, and mental health to see if the app makes a difference.
