Can a phone app ease the lingering pain of childhood cancer survivors?

NCT ID NCT07160621

Summary

This study is testing whether a specially adapted phone app that teaches pain management skills is more helpful than standard pain education for reducing chronic pain in teen survivors of childhood cancer. It will involve 204 participants (teens and their caregivers) across four major US children's hospitals. Researchers will compare the app's effectiveness in reducing pain and improving daily life over six weeks, with follow-up checks three months later.
