Summary
This study tested whether a dietary supplement called Mito-MES could prevent healthy adults from developing severe viral infections, like COVID-19, after being exposed to a sick person at home. 80 adults who had close contact with someone with respiratory symptoms took the supplement or served as controls. Researchers measured how many got sick and how severe their symptoms were.
