First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests whether a dietary supplement called Mitopure® (urolithin A) can improve muscle strength in healthy adults aged 40-65 who are not very active. About 120 participants will take either a low dose, high dose, or a placebo pill daily for 6 months. The main goal is to see if the supplement can boost knee strength, which is important for everyday movement and healthy aging.
