Mirror illusion tested to help stroke patients regain movement

Summary
This study is testing if a technique called mirror therapy can help people recover arm and hand movement after a recent stroke. Mirror therapy uses a mirror to create the visual illusion that a weakened limb is moving normally. The study will compare standard physical therapy alone to standard therapy plus mirror therapy in 44 participants.
