New shingles pain pill could offer better relief

Summary
This study tests whether adding a newer pain medicine called mirogabalin to standard shingles treatment provides better pain relief than standard treatment alone. Researchers will enroll 750 adults with moderate to severe shingles pain that started within the last 30 days. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either mirogabalin plus usual care or usual care only, and their pain levels will be tracked over four weeks.
