NCT ID NCT07237048
First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding the antibiotic minocycline to standard stroke care helps people with moderate strokes recover better. About 1,164 adults will be randomly assigned to receive either minocycline pills for five days plus usual care, or usual care alone. Researchers will measure neurological function and disability at discharge, 30 days, and 90 days after the stroke to see if minocycline improves outcomes and reduces complications.
