Summary
This study tests whether adding minocycline, an antibiotic that also reduces brain inflammation, improves recovery in people who had a major stroke and underwent successful clot removal. About 860 adults will receive either minocycline or a placebo within 24 hours of stroke onset. The goal is to see if more patients achieve independence at 90 days and to reduce the chance of poor outcomes despite successful treatment.
