First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tested whether training teachers in mindfulness and having them lead a social-emotional program for preschoolers can boost well-being and reduce stress. About 200 teachers, children, and parents from four Hong Kong kindergartens took part. Half received the training and curriculum, while the other half served as a waitlist comparison group. Researchers measured changes in mindfulness, burnout, compassion, and children's social skills and behavior.
