Mindfulness study offers hope for chronic skin condition sufferers
NCT ID NCT05642039
Summary
This study tested whether mindfulness training could improve quality of life for people with hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), a painful chronic skin condition. Researchers enrolled 37 HS patients from the University of Miami's dermatology system to participate in mindfulness sessions. The goal was to see if learning mindfulness techniques could help patients better cope with pain, sleep problems, and the emotional impact of their condition.
