Summary
This study tested an 8-week mindfulness program for first responders (like police and firefighters) to see if it could lower stress, build resilience, and reduce body pain. 29 active first responders took part in virtual sessions and used a smartphone app. The goal was to learn whether this approach could help them cope with the high demands of their job.
