First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tested whether mindfulness-based practices can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression in adults with type 2 diabetes. A total of 140 participants were split into two groups: one received mindfulness training, the other did not. Researchers measured changes using standard questionnaires for stress, depression, and anxiety. The goal was to see if a simple, non-drug approach could improve emotional well-being in people managing diabetes.
