Summary
This completed trial tested whether group mindfulness sessions could improve function and reduce pain in 451 adults with chronic low back pain. Participants attended eight weekly 90-minute group classes based on mindfulness-based stress reduction. The study compared their outcomes to those receiving usual one-on-one primary care.
