First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests a new mindfulness program called MINDS-UP to help prevent substance use in children and teens aged 10 to 14. Researchers will compare kids who do a sports-based prevention program alone to those who also learn mindfulness. The goal is to see if the program is practical, liked by participants, and effective at reducing future substance use.
