Summary
This study tested a smartphone app that teaches mindfulness and stress reduction techniques. It was designed specifically for African American caregivers who provide unpaid care for a person living with HIV/AIDS. The goal was to see if using the app could lower stress, improve self-compassion, and strengthen the relationship between caregiver and care recipient.
