Summary

This study tested a smartphone app that teaches mindfulness to African American caregivers of people living with HIV/AIDS. The goal was to help reduce stress, improve self-compassion, and strengthen the relationship with the person they care for. One hundred caregivers used the app, and researchers measured changes in stress, depression, and anxiety.
