First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tested whether a personalized mind-body program—including mindfulness, yoga, and guided walking—could help middle-aged women working in healthcare sleep longer. Sixty women aged 40–60 who reported sleeping less than 7 hours a night took part. Each woman tried all three activities in different orders over 12 weeks while wearing a Fitbit to track sleep. The goal was to see if these simple practices could improve sleep duration and quality.
