Summary
This study tests whether a mild electric current applied to a memory-related brain area can improve word-finding in military veterans who have had a mild or moderate traumatic brain injury. About 136 participants will receive either real or sham stimulation and complete memory and thinking tests over several months. The goal is to see if this safe, non-invasive technique can ease the frustrating symptom of struggling to recall words.
