Massive study aims to improve emergency care for head injuries
NCT ID NCT07339319
Summary
This study looks back at the medical records of 4,500 adults who went to the emergency room with a mild head injury. Researchers want to see how often serious complications like brain bleeding occur and to check which of two common medical checklists is better at predicting these problems. The goal is to help doctors make better decisions about who needs a brain scan after a head injury.
