Summary

This study tested an experimental drug called MIJ821, given as an IV infusion, in addition to standard care for people with major depression who were having active suicidal thoughts. The goal was to see if it could quickly reduce depression symptoms. The trial involved 199 adults aged 18 to 65 and was stopped early by the sponsor.
