Microneedling boosts gum thickness around implants in new trial
NCT ID NCT07294287
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether microneedling, with or without a growth factor injection, can thicken the gum tissue around dental implants. Twenty people with thin gums will receive either the growth factor alone or microneedling plus the growth factor. The goal is to see if this simple, minimally invasive approach can improve gum health and implant stability over six months.
