First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests a new treatment for people who suddenly lose vision because a small artery in the eye is blocked. The treatment combines a tiny needle injection into the eye's blood vessel with a standard surgery to remove the gel inside the eye. The goal is to see if this approach can safely improve vision within one month and over a year. The study will enroll 24 adults who have had symptoms for 7 days or less.
