Summary
This study tests whether a special micro-electrode can safely record the activity of individual brain cells during epileptic seizures. It involves 30 adults with drug-resistant epilepsy who are already scheduled for brain surgery. The goal is to learn more about how seizures work at the neuron level, not to treat the condition directly.
