Summary
This study tests a device that delivers tiny electrical pulses through the eyelid to treat dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a leading cause of vision loss. About 100 people with intermediate to advanced dry AMD will receive either real or sham (inactive) treatments over 11 months. The goal is to see if the microcurrent can safely improve or stabilize vision.
