NCT ID NCT06009276

First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 22, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This observational study looks at how fitness level relates to bacteria in the mouth and blood flow to muscles. Researchers will collect mouth swabs, saliva, and blood samples, and measure exercise capacity in 70 adults with heart failure, peripheral artery disease, or overweight. The goal is to understand these connections, not to test a treatment.
