NCT ID NCT05187013

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tested whether text messages can help homeless adults with uncontrolled high blood pressure lower their numbers and stay on track with medications and doctor visits. About 120 participants were split into two groups: one got standard healthy-living texts, the other got extra texts focused on blood pressure control. Researchers measured changes in blood pressure, medication adherence, and appointment attendance over six months.
