New clinic aims to tackle twin epidemics: heart failure and meth addiction

Summary

This study will test a new clinic that treats both heart failure and methamphetamine use disorder at the same time. About 50 adults with heart failure and active meth use will receive heart medications, counseling, and rewards for staying drug-free over 6 months. The goal is to see if this combined approach helps patients stop using meth, take their heart medicines consistently, and feel better.
