Summary

This study is testing whether metformin, a medication commonly used for diabetes, can help control symptoms in people with Parkinson's disease. The trial will involve 60 participants aged 50+ who are already taking standard Parkinson's medication. Researchers will measure changes in movement symptoms and quality of life to see if adding metformin provides additional benefit.
