Diabetes drug trial offers new hope for Parkinson's patients

Summary
This study is testing whether metformin, a common diabetes medication, can help control Parkinson's disease symptoms. Researchers will enroll 60 patients aged 50+ who are already taking standard Parkinson's medication. They'll measure changes in movement symptoms and quality of life over time to see if metformin provides additional benefit.
