Summary

This study tested whether metformin, a common diabetes drug, can help people with Parkinson's disease. Researchers gave metformin to 60 adults with Parkinson's who were already taking levodopa. The goal was to see if metformin could improve movement and daily function, and also check changes in blood markers related to brain health.
