Summary

This study tests a type of talk therapy called Metacognitive Interpersonal Therapy for Eating Disorders (MIT-ED) in 64 adults with various eating disorders, including those who are underweight. Participants will attend up to 40 therapy sessions over about 10 months. Researchers will measure changes in eating disorder symptoms, emotional control, and self-esteem to see if the therapy is helpful and practical.
