Summary
This study tests a special clinic designed to help people with severe mental illness (like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder) lose weight and improve their metabolic health. About 84 adults aged 18-45 who take antipsychotic medication and have a high body mass index will be enrolled. The clinic provides practical care to manage weight and related health issues, comparing results to standard care after 12 months.
