Summary
This study aimed to understand how the drug mepolizumab affects inflammation in the nose, lungs, and body of adults with severe, hard-to-treat asthma. Researchers followed 15 patients for one year to see how their symptoms, lung function, and specific biological markers changed while on the medication. The goal was to learn more about how this treatment works to control the disease.
