Mind over movement: mental walking practice may help MS patients step better

Summary

This study tests whether mentally practicing walking while watching videos of people walking can improve walking in people with multiple sclerosis (MS). Twenty participants will either watch walking videos and imagine themselves walking, or watch nature scenes. The study measures muscle activity and walking patterns to see if this mental practice helps mobility.
