First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tested whether an electronic painting and peer support platform (EPPS) could help caregivers in Hong Kong feel better and seek help for their own mental health. Over 700 caregivers were split into two groups: one used the EPPS system for 8 weeks, while the other received usual care. The goal was to see if making digital art, sharing with peers, and self-checking emotions could reduce depression, anxiety, and stress.
