Summary
This study tests a new vaccine (MenACYW) to protect against four types of meningococcal bacteria that can cause meningitis and bloodstream infections. About 1,600 healthy children and teens aged 2 to 17 in China will receive either the new vaccine or a currently approved one. Researchers will check how well the vaccine triggers an immune response and monitor for side effects over 6 months.
