Summary
This early-phase study tests whether memantine, a drug used for Alzheimer's, can improve arm and leg function in people who recently had a stroke. Twenty participants with arm weakness will be randomly assigned to receive memantine or a placebo. The study measures motor recovery using standard movement tests and tracks any side effects.
