New drug combo tested on brain tumors before surgery

NCT ID NCT05704933

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 30, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This early study tested whether giving a single dose of nivolumab with either ipilimumab or relatlimab before surgery is safe and possible for people with melanoma that has spread to the brain. Only one person took part, so results are very limited. The goal was to see how the drugs affect immune cells in and around the tumors.
