Summary
This study used special MRI scans to learn more about medullary sponge kidney, a rare condition that can cause kidney stones and other problems. Researchers compared 33 adults with the disease to healthy volunteers to see if MRI could detect early changes in kidney function. The goal was to improve understanding of the disease and possibly help with earlier diagnosis.
