Can meditation ease the burden of fading sight?
NCT ID NCT03166072
Summary
This study aims to see if two different programs—a meditation course or a general health education class—can improve the well-being of older adults who have permanent, age-related vision loss and the people who care for them. Researchers will enroll 150 participants to test how practical it is to run these programs and measure changes in quality of life, mood, and stress over 12 weeks. The goal is to find supportive ways to help people cope with the challenges of vision loss.
