Can meditation ease the burden of fading sight?
NCT ID NCT03166072
Summary
This study is testing whether a meditation program or a general health education program can improve quality of life and mental health for older adults who have permanent, age-related vision loss and for the people who care for them. Researchers will enroll 150 participants to try one of the two programs, delivered online, and see how well people can stick with them. The main goal is to see if running this kind of study is practical, while also checking if the programs help with stress, mood, sleep, and daily life.
