Can prescription meals heal failing hearts?

NCT ID NCT06540118

Summary

This study tested whether providing 12 weeks of specially designed, healthy meals could improve the diets and health of people with heart failure. Researchers enrolled 60 adults in California and gave them either 14 or 15 medically tailored meals per week. They measured changes in diet quality, food security, weight, blood pressure, and cholesterol to see if the meals helped.
